ENGLISH ROCKS

'ENGLISH ROCKS' is the project conducted in our school (September 1, 2014 - August 2015) thanks to the grant from the Polish- American Freedom Foundation.  The project aims at developing language skills, giving our students the same chances as for those living in big cities,  showing the local institutions and the parents how important it is nowadays to learn English.
The project is led by two English teachers: Justyna Chojnacka and Eliza Jablonska. They not only conduct additional English classes for the group of 20 students but also give their students a chance to communicate in English in different daily situations, even with a native speaker of English.
Thanks to the grant, the school will get a better equiped language laboratory. We will buy some new books, board games, computer programmes, a karaoke system. Our students will attend workshops with a native speaker of English in Cracow and a two-day language camp in Swieta Katarzyna.
As a result of these activities students will become more fluent in English and they will get better exam results.
